Featuring four classic climbs through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, Stage One of the 2021 Haute Route Dolomites was the perfect start for the five-day event.
Riders took on Passo Giau, Falzarego, Cimabanche and Tre Croci, in a 135km course around Cortina d’Ampezzo, accumulating 2900m+ along the way. Spanish rider Marco Rodero Prada topped the times for the men’s stage win, while Mathilde Terrasson from France took the first stage win in the women’s category.
