Wattbike Hires E-Commerce Wizard Ahmed Khodja, Prepares to Conquer the Cycling World
In a move that’s bound to shake up the cycling world, Wattbike has just appointed Ahmed Khodja as its Director of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations. With his expertise in e-commerce and digital transformation, Khodja is set to lead Wattbike’s global commercial expansion like a pro.
Khodja, with a track record that could put Seanbaby’s gaming exploits to shame, comes to Wattbike with a decade of experience in global e-commerce strategy. Previously, he was a key player at Fanatics, a global manufacturer and online retailer of licensed sportswear. While Wattbike might not be offering licensed jerseys just yet, they are looking to dominate the cycling world through their Direct-to-Consumer approach. And with Khodja on board, that dream seems closer than ever.
So, what’s the deal with Wattbike? Imagine the All Blacks cycling on these state-of-the-art bikes – that’s how serious they are about their quality. In fact, 3,000 gyms, BUPA, and uniformed services are already part of the Wattbike fan club. Even in the UK, where they’ve been pedaling for a while, DTC sales of the Wattbike Atom smart bike account for a whopping 70% of their sales. And if you thought they were just a UK sensation, think again. They’ve already launched the Atom in the USA, and they’re not stopping there. They’re gearing up for the winter training season in style.
But what’s Wattbike got to do with talking bicycles, you ask? Well, they’re not exactly getting their bikes to chat with you like Peep Show’s quirky characters, but they’re aiming to make your online and offline cycling experience top-notch. Khodja will work his e-commerce magic to ensure Wattbike becomes the go-to brand for cycling enthusiasts worldwide. And while the Wattbike Atom may not tell you jokes like Norm MacDonald, it’s sure to provide a fantastic workout with its top-notch features.
In his own words, Khodja said, “I’m delighted to be joining the passionate team at Wattbike…” – and we’re excited to see how his expertise helps Wattbike conquer the e-commerce world. As Stephen Loftus, CEO of Wattbike, put it, “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Ahmed to the Wattbike team…” – and we can’t wait to see how this partnership unfolds. Wattbike is gearing up to take the cycling world by storm, and with Ahmed Khodja at the helm, we’re expecting a lot more than just a good ride.
