The Croatian city of Poreč hosted the second edition of the “Plava Laguna 5150 Triathlon” from the Ironman series. 28 different nationalities from five continents were represented at the start of the race. The course itself was flat and the main challenge was the windy weather, especially present during the 1500 meter swimming and 40 kilometer cycling route. The final 10 kilometer running route took the competitors to the centre of the ancient city of Poreč and back to the finish line. Croatian athletes, Vinko Vrebac and Željka Šaban Miličić came in first.
