UCI Women’s WorldTour leader Lizzie Deignan and Italian Road and TT champion Elisa Longo Borghini have prolonged their respective contracts with Trek-Segafredo for two years. Deignan made the most of the condensed 2020 season and achieved great success upon the racing calendar’s restart, winning GP Plouay and La Course by Le Tour de France before soloing to victory in the prestigious Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Highlights Report Primoz Roglic has won the tenth stage of the Vuelta a España in an impressive way. The leader of Team Jumbo-Visma won on the uphill finish in Suances after a strong sprint. Due to the boni seconds and a split in the peloton, the Slovenian regained the lead in the overall classification. For Roglic it is his third stage victory in this Vuelta. Highlights Report After the start in Castrillo del Val, the riders set off on a 158 km slightly undulating course to Aguilar de Campoo, which today offered a second chance for the sprinters. Only two riders formed today’s leading group, which was able to break away relatively early from the field. The rider of Team Jumbo-Visma managed to stay ahead of his opponents on the Alto de Moncalvillo after the decisive attack.
