When someone launches a series of European night rides, fronted by a wordmark that looks exactly like the title screen of a 1990s Sega Genesis beat-em-up, we are obviously going to give it some oxygen.
Following the successful Lombardy Gran Trail over the Easter holiday, the event organizers at Epicdays.cc are pivoting to the dark. They have just announced Epicnight: a three-part series of evening group rides scattered across Northern Italy, combining nocturnal cycling, DJ sets, and a general lack of sleep.
Sounds fucking brilliant. Hand us a beer, we’re about to get rowdy in Bergamo.

Three Nocturnal Rides
The format is simple You show up as the sun sets, ride your bike through the dark, and finish with a party. Here is where the retro-branded chaos is descending over the next month:
1. Riva del Garda (April 30) Timed perfectly to hijack the eve of the massive FSA Bike Festival, this opening round offers a 40km or 80km route. It is open to gravel bikes, MTBs, and e-bikes, which means the pacing will be an absolute free-for-all. You start and finish in Torbole, where you will be greeted by a beachside DJ set and the realization that you still have an entire weekend of a bike festival ahead of you.
2. Bergamo (May 16) The second round meets at a venue appropriately named “Into the Woods” just outside the city. From there, riders will navigate the Bergamo hills by the beam of their headlights. The finish line features a DJ set by “Andy,” who happens to be both the creator of the Epicdays series and a long-time music producer. (We appreciate a founder who cuts out the middleman and just books himself to play the afterparty).
3. Milan (May 30) The finale takes place right in the heart of Milan. Starting at the Eroica Caffè on via Tabacchi, riders will supposedly discover a “different side of Milan” defined by green spaces and quiet moments. Knowing Milanese traffic, a “quiet moment” on a bicycle sounds deeply suspicious, but we admire the optimism.

Party Now, Pain Later
The organizers are pitching this night series as a relaxed, social buildup to their flagship summer event: the Randonnée du Mont Blanc in July 2026.
The Mont Blanc ride is a full circumnavigation of the mountain featuring 9,000 meters of elevation gain. So yes, enjoy your 40km beachside cruise in Garda now, because in two months, Epicdays is going to send you to an altitude-induced purgatory.
Entry for the Epicnight rides is a highly reasonable €29.00 per event, or you can buy a season pass for all three for €59.00.
If you happen to be in Northern Italy and own a decent set of lumens, you can register over at their website. Just make sure you bring a bike that matches the 90s retro-arcade energy of their logo.
