First Look – Algarve Bike Challenge 2022
The classic mountain bike stage race is returning in 2022 after a forced break in 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Racers can still expect the “Ultimate Intense Bike Weekend Experience” adapted and adjusted to the current regulations.
After 8 editions, the Algarve Bike Challenge became a must and a yearly favourite event for many riders.
An intense three-day event, the Algarve Bike Challenge is a gathering place for people sharing their passions, attaining goals and celebrating life. It is an important mark within each person’s life. For they are achievements and experiences that cap the regularity of our everyday existence. For the local community it has become an identity. It drives the economy while sharing the stories of the characters that live, work and recreate in that region – it is feathers in a cap.
For athletes, both pro and amateurs, the Algarve Bike Challenge is a goal, a monument in life and career that allows for exceptional physical and mental strength to be found and displayed. It is where the modern human spirit can thrive, grow and excel.
With the future being especially hard to predict these days, the Algarve Bike Challenge team took the time to rethink what makes the Algarve BC so unique. By focusing on people coming together around a shared passion and common goals, the Algarve BC team is confident they can deliver the same quality of experience as always.
Algarve BC built its foundation on passion for mountain biking, cycling trips, travel and trails. Going forward, that will be central to the future form of the event.
