XTERRA Racing Season Heats Up in August

The XTERRA World Tour is in full swing with eight races in two weeks across Europe and the U.S. leading up to the XTERRA World Championship in Trentino, Italy on October 1, 2022.

In the U.S., big names like Eric Lagerstrom and Heather Jackson are racing at XTERRA Portland on August 6 to solidify their qualifying spots to Italy, while in Europe, five elite races including a pair of high-octane XTERRA Short Track events and the European Championship has the sports top performers chasing €57,500 in prize money.

The EU racing block starts Saturday, August 6, at the XTERRA Nouvelle-Aquitaine off-road triathlon in France, continues August 13 at the European Championships in the Czech Republic with the XTERRA Short Track in Prachatice the next day, which will be broadcast on Cyclry.

The following weekend the circuit travels to Zittau, Germany for Short Track racing on Friday, August 19 (also broadcast on Cyclry), and the full-distance XTERRA showdown on August 20.
