Dylan van Baarle won the 2023 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad with a solo attack on the Muur van Geraardsbergen. The Dutchman of Jumbo-Visma was part of a seven-man breakaway that formed 40 kilometres from the finish. He dropped his companions on the iconic climb and held off a chasing group and the peloton.

Van Baarle crossed the line alone on the Elisabethlaan in Ninove, 20 seconds ahead of the peloton. This is Van Baarle’s first victory for Jumbo-Visma.
