Cyclry Leaves Twitter, Joins the Fediverse

Ey up. It’s been a quiet November because we’ve been writing in secret for other places this month. Well, one of us hasn’t been, but we also don’t let her write for this site either after the incident.

Anyway, we’re back to announce that we’re jumping on the jumping off the sinking ship bandwagon. We’re open source or something now.

Why We Left Twitter

Forgot we had it, mostly. Those 20 followers will be disappointed.

Alright, we left because it’s a billionaire’s plaything, and he’s using it to fight that garbage culture war nonsense. But it was easier to delete our account because we never used it.

We actually left like a month ago, but now everybody is doing it very dramatically and we want our credit.

Cyclry on the Fediverse

Cyclry has joined the fediverse! Which means, we have ActivityPub set up on here.

What the fuck does that mean? We have no idea. We kind of assume the website is now coming through a magic pipe that only hackers can understand, but we can do something to help you follow if you tell us what it is we need to do.
