Giant Buys $20M Worth of Stages

That’s a lot of power meters! Boom boom.

Giant Group has announced it has made a $20,000,000 investment in its bicycle computer partner Stages Cycling. That works out to 32.5% of the company’s common stock.

Stages makes power meters, bicycle head units, and smart bikes. Giant has partnered with Stages in some of these endeavors, including distributing the latest Stages Dash computers as Giant products. Now their relationship is Facebook official. Wait, is that reference out of date? They’re doing… a TikTok duet? Hinge one-night-stand?

Giant said some waffle about “the integration of indoor and outdoor cycling products,” and “comprehensive cycling experiences.” You don’t care about reading it and we don’t care about copying and pasting it. End of article.
