The XTERRA Germany competition is the most traditional XTERRA competition in Europe. Since 2006 the competition takes place in the nature park Zittauer Gebirge in the southeastern border triangle of Germany at the border to Poland and Czechia. The competition is integrated into the complex event weekend of the O-SEE Challenge, which takes place every year on the 3rd weekend of August. The O-SEE Challenge is the largest multi-sport event in Germany and celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020. Characteristics of the XTERRA Germany are the over 36 km long mountain bike tour, which already has an epic character and the gigantic party in the evening under the futuristic awning of the fairground directly on the shore of the lake.
