State and Wu-Tang Clan Collaborate for Some Reason
There used to be a cool Greek cocktail bar by my house. It was clean and modern, but also a slightly bit strange. One example is that on the shelves, among all the classy trinkets and every type of glassware known to man, was inexplicably a Wu-Tang Clan logo. The bar was too close to be worthwhile riding my fixie there on a night, but I did often swing by and lock up outside for a cheeky liqueur-based beverage on my way home.
The ravings of a madman? Perhaps. But also a man trying desperately to form the only connection between fixies and Wu-Tang Clan he can muster. Well, now there’s one more.
State Bicycle Co. and the Wu-Tang Clan Bring The Ruckus
State Bicycle Co.’s affinity for Wu-Tang dates back nearly a decade, when State celebrated the 20 year anniversary of the album 36 Chambers with the Wu-Tang Brand. Now, the legendary Hip Hop group is at it again, collaborating with State Bicycle Co. for a complete line of bikes, apparel and accessories celebrating Wu-Tang’s legacy and lasting cultural impact.
State is paying tribute to Wu-Tang Clan with three of their most popular models, as well as parts and softgoods to match. State’s 6061 Black Label, Core Line, and Klunker all get the Wu-Tang treatment for this collaboration.
Parts and accessories including bar tape, saddles and a wheelset ensure that Wu-Tang flair can be added to any bike you please, or serve as collectable pieces for fans everywhere. State’s Sustainable Clothing Collection also makes an appearance with tech-ts, jerseys, bibs and caps to show your love on or off the bike.
