Dan Bigham will attempt to break the UCI Hour Record on 19 August at the Tissot Velodrome in Grenchen (Switzerland). The greatest distance covered in one hour currently stands at 55.089 km. This record was established by Belgian Victor Campenaerts on 16 April 2019 at the Velodromo Bicentenario in Aguascalientes (Mexico). Dan Bigham, who is performance engineer for UCI WorldTeam INEOS Grenadiers, currently holds the British Hour Record of 54.723 km. The 4th edition of GFNY Bali took place on “The Island of the Gods” last Sunday, with a record participation of 1500 cyclists from 14 countries. Supported by hundreds of Bali’s Police monitoring intersections along the entire course, both long and medium course cyclists had a fast start from the historic Klungkung, along Bali’s eastern coast.
