Report Six years after Anna van der Breggen, Demi Vollering became the second woman to achieve the Ardennes trilogy. After winning the Amstel Gold Race and Flèche Wallonne, the Team SD Worx rider was now also the best in Liège-Bastogne-Liège. “This was the most difficult of the three. Especially because I put a lot of pressure on myself to achieve this unique series,” Vollering said at the press conference. In the Ardennes classic, Team SD Worx once again showed a rock-solid collective. Beyond the Côte de Stockeu, five riders managed to escape with Marlen Reusser defending the interests of the…

All eyes were on Remco Sunday afternoon, and the 23-year-old didn’t disappoint in his first outing since the Volta a Catalunya. Soudal Quick-Step controlled the peloton much of…

The Slovenian rider managed perfectly the situation in the final kilometre, after having received an outstanding assistance from the Emirati team during the race. UAE Team Emirates set the pace of the peloton in the heat of the moment in the competition and neutralized a three rider breakaway that, in the final part of the race, had a maximum advantage of 40”. Pogačar…
Report On top of the Mur de Huy, Demi Vollering triumphed after an impressive last ten kilometres. In it, the Dutchwoman took the initiative herself and single-handedly reduced the leading group to an elite group on the Côte de Cherave. At the foot of the Mur de Huy, Vollering attacked with a strong acceleration that she kept up to the top. A sovereign victory after she also won the Amstel Gold Race on Sunday. “This is such a tough climb. It always scares me a bit that it won’t work. It’s fantastic to take the win here.” Flèche Wallonne was…
Cycling Time Trials (CTT) has announced a significant new website feature that will integrate road bikes into all events, while separating them into their own category in the results. The new feature will enable riders who choose a standard road bike with drop handlebars and spoked wheels to enter any event in the CTT calendar, indicating which type of bike they will be riding. Afterwards, results will be easily filterable by bike type on the CTT website, as well as into men’s and women’s results and age groups.
