Cycplus Launches Kickstarter for Tiny ‘Cube’ Bike Pump

Not sure exactly what to write about this one. They keep sending us emails but it’s mostly to link us to the Kickstarter. Are we going to have to do actual journalism?

It’s a cube that pumps up your tires. It weighs 97g. Cycplus tells us that’s “the equivalent of a small half cup of water and is completely negligible.” Alright.

It goes up to 100psi and works with both Presta and Schrader valves. Cycplus says it’s “Equally capable of pumping two 700*25c road bike tires from 0 to 80psi at once,” which is somewhat confusing. We think that it means you get two inflations per charge. It does somewhat depend on the tire size and desired pressure, however.

Sounds pretty cool.

It costs $69 right now, rising to a different number later. Check out their Indiegogo to learn more or purchase. We probably won’t cover it again unless they send us one to test, but we wish them luck.
