Cycling enthusiasts from around the globe are gearing up for one of the most anticipated events in amateur cycling, LaStelvioSantini. On Sunday, June 2nd, Bormio will see an incredible 47 national flags waving at the starting grid, reflecting the event’s growing international appeal. With registration open until May 30th, this year promises to be the most diverse edition yet.
A Global Gathering on Iconic Climbs
LaStelvioSantini offers cyclists a unique opportunity to conquer two of Italy’s most iconic climbs in a traffic-free environment: Passo dello Stelvio and Mortirolo. Both have been key stages in recent Giro d’Italia races and hold a special place in the hearts of cycling enthusiasts. Participants can choose from three race courses—130 km, 108 km, and 64 km—each culminating at the breathtaking altitude of 2,757 meters at Passo dello Stelvio.

The 2024 edition boasts an impressive 61% of participants from outside Italy, marking a significant increase in international interest. Germany leads the pack of foreign participants, followed by the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
