Stages and LOOK Partner to Make Universal Indoor Pedal System
Stages has announced the launch of their new indoor cycling pedal system, developed in collaboration with the folks over at LOOK Cycle, which they claim is the best in its class. The SP4 pedal system boasts compatibility with almost every shoe that is used in gyms or home training. The pedals are even compatible with LOOK delta or SPD cleats, or if you don’t have cleats, you can use any athletic shoe with the Stages Platform Cage. It’s the Swiss army knife of pedal systems.
LOOK has used their extensive knowledge of clipless pedals to design an axle that can apparently exceed previous design limitations and durability. These pedals are Made in France and have been tested to exceed the rigors of gym or home indoor bike use, which is great news for the millions of Redditors who regularly snap pedals mid-workout.
