Stages Cycling Launches Dual Sided Power Meter for Ultegra 8100
Stop the presses. Stages has launched a dual sided power meter for Shimano’s latest 12-speed Ultegra 8100 cranksets. That’s not relevant to us at all, but it might be relevant to you, and so we’ll pretend to be enthusiastic about it. Wow! Finally, the 12-speed Ultegra 8100 cranksets are getting some affordable power meter love!
The drive-side Stages R crank arms and dual sided Stages LR cranksets for Shimano’s 12-speed groups feature a new power meter design including new strain gauge placement and sensors. That’s awesome! We always wanted our strain gauge placed differently!

Units are available to purchase now in varying lengths and chain ring configurations for $839.99. Absolute units! Factory Install service for Ultegra 8100 cranksets is also available now, starting at $529.99. What’s the difference? We don’t know. Maybe we’ll buy both!
Some More Words!
