Garmin has officially launched its Enduro 2 ultraperformance multisport GPS smartwatch. If there were leaks about this, we didn’t get them. Sorry. That’ll put an end to rumors that we work for Garmin. The Enduro 2 is the top-of-the-line smartwatch model, which Garmin says is “purpose built for endurance athletes.” So not your mom’s Fitbit then. It’s lightweight and includes built-in TopoActive maps with multicontinent coverage, which is cool. They’ve also added an LED flashlight and something called “SatIQ™ technology” that apparently helps optimize battery performance. It also does the solar thing, for 46 days in watch mode and 150…

This headline is either completely self-explanatory or completely baffling, depending on your knowledge of bike components. 105 is Shimano’s good-not-great groupset, perfectly good enough for any cyclist to use and priced competitively – although Ultegra and Dura-Ace are noticeably better. It’s now on its 40th anniversary since being first introduced in 1982, and Shimano is celebrating by giving 105 the ultimate upgrade with a move to Di2 electronic shifting technology. Oh yeah, Di2 is electronic shifting. Good if you like having one more thing to charge up. The highly anticipated Shimano 105 R7100 group not only delivers Di2 performance to an…

Gonna be honest, we burned out on bike computers. How many black rectangles that’ll still be polluting the Earth 1,000 years after we’re dead do we really need? Yeah, yeah, but the one you bought 18 months ago doesn’t use an accelerometer to detect when you bunny hop over curbs, so it’s time for an upgrade. Grab your conflict minerals and send some more kids down into the lithium mines, because new bike computers are coming at us thick and fast as all the disruptions begin to ease. And the most significant one is Garmin’s flagship, the Edge 1040. Edge…
